Our Basic BMX Skills Class is designed for new and developing riders who want to build a strong foundation in BMX riding and racing. This class focuses on core skills that promote confidence, safety, and bike control both on and off the track.

Riders will learn proper BMX riding posture, balance, braking, cornering, and basic gate and track awareness. Coaches also introduce foundational techniques such as pumping, manual basics, and navigating rollers—skills that help riders gain speed without pedaling while maintaining control.

Safety is a top priority. Participants will receive guidance on helmet fit, bike setup, and basic bike maintenance, along with track etiquette and race-day fundamentals. Instruction is delivered in a positive, encouraging environment that emphasizes progression, effort, and fun.
